The exact opening hours of the building during the holiday season are constantly updated in Google search and on our social media.

Due to the location, the museum does not have its own parking lot. The nearest one is at the Royal Castle.

Yes, we have an open locker room and lockers locked with a key. Larger luggage can be stored at the Reception.

Yes! Even it is necessary in case of some exhibits, because the human eye is not able to perceive everything. Therefore, a camera will be a much-needed equipment to be able to experience one hundred percent of all the illusions available in our Museum.

If the pet is harmless and will not disturb the other visitors then you can enter with a dog. However, the owner is responsible for any damages incurred. Staff may refuse entry with your dog when there are a lot of visitors in the building, so we recommend calling the Reception before visiting

Unfortunately, due to its location in a historic tenement house, our Museum is not accessible to visitors in a wheelchair.

Group visit

Yes, because we keep a separate schedule of group bookings. A group that visits us without prior booking first of all will not receive a guide, and more importantly may not be allowed in case of high traffic.

To book a group visit, please contact the reception by phone or email.

Payment is made at the ticket office, before visiting, so it is worth coming a few minutes earlier. You can pay with cash and card. If necessary, we will also issue an invoice. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer before the date of the visit, then we issue a transfer invoice. To use this option, please send to our e-mail the institution’s data (name, address, tax identification number) and information that you undertake to make such a payment.

All payment questions will be answered by our employees. When booking, please inform how you would like to pay for your visit to the Museum.

No, we don’t charge advance payments.

For the first 15-20 minutes, the group is accompanied by a guide who introduces them to the subject of illusions, explains how the chosen exhibits work and gives tips on how to continue navigating the museum, what to look for and how to safely use the exhibition. The rest of the time is allocated for individual sightseeing.

Groups should show up to 15 minutes in advance before sightseeing. Our locker room is not large enough to accommodate groups that are waiting to enter together with the group that finishes the visit. Fortunately, the Museum is located in a beautiful historic place, so we hope that a walk around the area will be a nice solution while you wait for your booking!

In case of delays, please inform the Reception. With delays exceeding 15 minutes, we may not be able to show the group around the Museum. Depending on the the booking schedule, the employee will decide whether they will be able to provide you with a guide or if the sightseeing will be individual
